Registration is now open for our parish religion program, Family Faith. Family Faith is a hybrid in-person and at-home religious education program that brings families together to take the faith out of the classroom and into our homes. Family Faith is open to all families with children ages newborn-8th grade.

Registrations for First Communion Preparation (2nd grade) and Confirmation Preparation (8th grade) are also open. Please note, students of SMOY School are NOT automatically registered. Students must have received a full year of religious education prior to registering for a sacrament. If your child did not receive religious instruction last year, or if your child is outside of the normal grade level for their respective sacramental preparation, please reach out to Jacilyn Jackson jjackson@smoy.org to come up with an individualized plan.

Altar Servers support and assist the priest and deacon in the celebration of the Eucharist. Servers carry the cross, light the candles, and carry the incense, among other tasks. Each member usually serves at least once per month and sometimes more depending on scheduling and availability.

You do not need to sign up; just come to one of the training sessions.

The session on Weds., September 23, 2026 at St. Margaret of York has been cancelled. Other sessions are still available.

By participating in a Conversations in the Spirit session, you will join others across our archdiocese in prayerfully considering what the Holy Spirit is asking of our Church at this time. This is your opportunity to contribute to Synod 2027 and assist Archbishop Casey as he establishes pastoral priorities for the future.

Synod 2027 has been designed to encourage broad participation from across the archdiocese. Sessions are offered in two formats: location sessions open to all, and cohort sessions designed to hear from specific groups of people.

• To ensure as many people as possible can participate, individuals can only register for one Conversation in the Spirit session
