Priests

About
I was born and raised in Milford, Ohio, a member of St. Andrew Parish, and went to McNicholas High School. I entered college seminary at the age of 18 and four years later was sent to Rome to study theology. [When I asked the Archbishop about the cost of sending my trunk, as well as my flight to Rome, he said: “We will pay anything to get you out of the country for a few years!”] In 1982 he ordained me a priest, and I have had a wonderful and happy life ever since. I taught high school from 1983-1995, was sent back to Rome on the faculty of my college from 1995-2000, was part of the Mount St. Mary Seminary faculty and rector until I finally became a pastor [It only took 29 years!]. In 2022 I was sent to St. Margaret of York and St. Columban and have loved being pastor here with all the wonderful people. I enjoy reading and listening to classical music in my leisure time. I am very blessed to love what I am and what I do!

About
I grew up with four brothers and two sisters in Trenton, OH, where we attended Holy Name Parish until we moved to Champaign County. There, we attended Sacred Heart Parish in New Carlisle. Homeschooled until eighth grade, I went to Graham High School, Bowling Green State University, then the Air Force for three years before entering seminary. I enjoy praying the Rosary, and in my spare time, I like to read, play board games and video games, and watch sci- fi and fantasy films.
