Sharing the Good News
We want to help you share the good news about your event or ministry!
Alisa Fisher, the Communications Coordinator, is the bulletin creator and editor. Contact her with any questions you may have at afisher@smoy.org or communications@smoy.org.
Bulletin Deadline
Please submit announcements at least 10 days prior to the date of desired publication. Example: If you want your announcement to appear in the August 15 bulletin, send your announcement by August 5. Occasionally deadlines may shift due to holidays, vacations, or publisher changes, so when in doubt, send the announcement in early.
Announcement Guidelines
Please email all announcement requests to communications@smoy.org. Announcements are typically submitted as:
- an all-text announcement (Word file or equivalent) or an all-text announcement with a separate image or graphic (JPEG or PNG)
- a graphic image that contains all pertinent details (image and text) as a PNG or JPEG
- please check with Alisa if you have a larger file such as a flyer, as space constraints may make it challenging to accommodate a full page in the bulletin or Flocknote
- when writing announcements include all relevant details including who, what, when, where, how, and why
