Renewing Your Background Check
Instructions
If your Online Background Check is over 5 years old, you may have received an email from
administration@mccalmon.com. This is NOT SPAM. This is NOT a SCAM.
Any individual that is SafeParish trained and has a background check older than five years will need to renew their background check.
You will renew through a website using a credit card.
We recommend reading through the entire instructions prior to starting the renewal process:
1). Click on the link to take you to
https://www.aocsafeenvironment.org/
2). Log into your account.
3). Click on My Account.
4). Click on Complete Online Background Check (Standard).
Follow the prompts to complete the online background check. *Please note: you will see a line about "fair credit reporting." If you read the fine print beneath the heading, you will see an explanation. Because the Archdiocese of Cincinnati does not have a specific form for background checks, they use Selections.com's standard collection form which is a credit report form, but it will not be run as a credit report.
5). You will be charged $20 for the renewal. *Please note: when you submit your payment via credit card, and receive your receipt, you will see the label "Fastrax Credit Card Receipt." Fastrax is the name of the payment processing company that manages background checks.
