Mass of Remembrance, Nov. 2

October 19, 2026

We gather to remember and pray for all those from our parish who have died in the past year. Though they may no longer be with us in this life, our prayers for them are a beautiful expression of love and unity in the Body of Christ. In God's eternal time, our prayers still matter. “Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.”

Our SMOY mothers and daughters were blessed with a beautiful day of faith, fellowship, and discovery at our retreat on authentic femininity and living as Women of Grace. Together, they explored what it means to follow the example of our Blessed Mother by listening to God’s voice, responding to His call, sharing His love, and serving others with joyful hearts. Throughout the day, they uncovered the lies that the world and the evil one often place before us and encountered the life-giving truths God desires for each of His daughters. The retreat concluded with touching opportunities for mothers and daughters to pray together, offer blessings to one another, and experience the healing grace of Confession and the peace of Eucharistic Adoration. A heartfelt thank-you to all of the volunteers who spoke, planned, set up, and cleaned up afterward. Your generosity made this special day possible!
