An Update About Our Seminarians
Peter Hoffman and Curtis Gross are each thriving in their formation at Mount St. Mary's Seminary and School of Theology. Peter is nearing the end of the first semester of his second year and is grateful for the prayers and support that sustain him; his seminary house job has him leading campus tours, and he recently enjoyed welcoming SMOY’s fifth-grade class for a fun and faith-filled visit.
Curtis, now in his final year of formation, is serving as a transitional deacon at St. Susanna in Mason, where much of his ministry has been with the Hispanic community—an experience that has deepened his relationships and pastoral skills. He also just completed his thesis for his master’s degree and continues to value both seminary community life and time with family. Both look forward to reconnecting with the SMOY community and hold everyone in their prayers.
About the photo: Curtis is pictured with his cousin, Sister Jacinta Grace, a Carmelite nun, at his ordination to the diaconate back in April.
